As with our past Women in Governance Network events, this one will provide a unique opportunity to hear from some of the best women in governance in our sector.

This time, we’ll be hosting a panel discussion of two phenomenal women. They’ll be sharing their journey into the governance space, some of the challenges and obstacles they have faced and any key learnings that they’ve captured along the way. We’ll also cover off any reflections they might have, especially if they were to do it all again.

Our panellists are:

  • Shelley Katae, Chief Executive Officer, Tāmaki Regeneration Company, and currently a board member of Taupō Moana Ltd (Ngāti Tuwharetoa), the National Houora Coalition, an Advisory Committee Member of Counties Manukau Health and a Trustee of Aktive
  • Michelle Tsui, a qualified actuary with over 25 years’ experience in the actuarial and investment consulting industry who has now embarked on a full-time governance career mainly with a number of non-profit sector and Crown organisations. She is currently a trustee of CLM Community Sport and a Director of Auckland Cricket.

We’ll also have some time for attendees to connect with each other, meet new people and discuss the business of governance in sport together.
